For users who create filings from start to finish within our application, Auto-File is here to supercharge your Illinois e-filing experience. Once you upload your documents, our system intelligently extracts all relevant document and party information, whether you're starting a new case or filing into an existing one. It's just one more way we help you reduce your filing time!
It's as simple as 1-2-3
From the dashboard, Initiate a New Case or File into an Existing Case. Auto-File enabled accounts will see a new, streamlined document upload screen designed to make data extraction easy.
Simply drag and drop your files into the designated area or click 'Select Files' to choose them from your computer.
Auto-File converts most common file types (like Word, WordPerfect, JPG, etc.) to the court's preferred PDF format automatically. Once you click 'Done Adding Documents,' our software begins filling out your filing using the extracted information.
After extraction, the system will pre-populate your filing details, including the court, case type/number, document types, and party information.
Just verify all extracted information for accuracy, making any necessary edits or adding additional documents and parties as needed.
